I ended up picking it up for my PS4 since Drive Club got delayed and I gotta say I'm really not feeling this game. I have no idea how this went past them because it looks really gamebreaking imo. Apparently, when you are in Pursuit, if you manage to reach your safe-house which are plenty on the map, you can completely end the pursuit with all your speedpoints irrespective of whether you are in cooldown or in active pursuit. Anyone else who has tried it, let me know how you feel about it.ĮDIT - Ok i just found something ridiculous which i hope is seriously a bug. These are some of my views on the game so far. It feels nice to have tons of racers driving past you (both AI and humans) and while i am not a big fan of them randomly challenging me, it does give the world a good lively feeling. Driving along the mentioned coastline actually developed a mist on my car which looked really realistic. World: The world is gorgeous with races along Riviera and mountain side with lots of weather and Car effects. There aren't much as of now, can't say if that is because of the early levels. EMPs, mines, shockwaves are extremely fun to time and use.Ĭustomisation: I haven't unlocked much yet but so far, i haven't been impressed in this department. Pursuit and chases: The inclusion of gadgets from Hot Pursuit reboot is a welcoming feature to me as they are definitely fun to use both on the racer as well as cop end. Of course, using the Turbo will give that effect but it's temporary. Racing at high speeds doesn't give the same effect as Criterions MW but is good enough and i actually prefer it here. It didn't feel to me like the controls from the Hot Pursuit reboot which is what this game was supposedly a sequel of. They are rigid and feel well set on the road but can be made to drift around turns as well as skid with the handbrake. Cars feel like a hybrid between the original Most Wanted and the Criterion reboot. One minor issue i have is the Antialiasing which is about average and i couldn't find any option to boost it. I can easily run it at Ultra on my i5-2500k and a measly GTX560 and since it uses Frostbite engine, it looks damn good. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creeschįirst of all, yes the game is indeed locked at 30FPS but the other part is that it is extremely well optimised, even better than the Criterion Most Wanted./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
